Head of Mathematics where she received 5/5 excellents for her teaching from OfSTED, and taught in a number of different schools.
Supported Dyslexic students in the mathematics related to
their degree courses
at University. She has researched in Mathematics Education and Psychology,
and
her MSc thesis is entitled "Learning Multiplication tables: TheAssociated
Issues"
Invented a game Perfect
Times, a solution for learning tables as part
of
her research.

TES mathagony aunt column, she writes and illustrates her

RAF Maths Challenge, toured the country with workshops for the RAF.
Academic literature, has written materials for Nelsonthornes Key Maths series following thenational Framework for mathematics.

Wendy was nominated and awarded a Nesta Fellowshop in November 2001 for her talent in teaching and creativity. In April 2002 she bagan a weekly column in the TES called 'Mathagony aunt'.
